28 November 2021 Eye-Test day
On 28 November 2021, the following members have participated in the project:

(Lion Nicholas was AOC, but could not attend as he had to work on that day.)
We started at 9am, but ended at 7pm due to over-whelming ‘demand’ – opticians needed time to do the eye-test carefully for children.

- MBSJ Councilors for Zone 3 and Zone 4
- SJ Echo newspaper
We were featured on SJ Echo newspaper on front cover and on page 4 of Dec edition.
We tested 170 children. 60 require spectacles. Total cost of spectacles = MYR3,330. Other minor costs were for Covid-safety items and food/drink.
Spectacles handover ceremony is tentatively, fixed for 18 December 2021.
- Due to Covid-19 SOP, we will keep the ceremony simple with low headcount.
- Invited State Assemblywoman, Michelle Ng, to grace it.
- Allocated 10 seats for LCSJ members.
- Will handover 60 pair of spectacles with box, containing card
