Lions Club of Subang Jaya, together with Leo Club of SJA, Leo Club of Subang Utama and Leo Club of U8, organized a Blood Donation and Free Health Checkup event in Main Place USJ on 15 February 2025. The organizing chairperson was Lion Grace.
Firstly, we should thank Pusat Darah Negara for agreeing to conduct this event with us, again, for this year. We appreciate that they agreed to bring more beds and bags than originally planned. True indeed, it was not a disappointing event as turnout was better than expected.
Pusat Darah Negara managed to collect 101 bags of blood from successful donors. There were many others who came but were disappointed that they could not donate due to various reasons; nevertheless, we would like to say a big thank you to everyone who came forward with the intention to donate their blood, generously.
Also, we need to thank our MP Wong Chen, for his contribution and fervent support to Lions Club of Subang Jaya. It was good to have him paid us a visit yesterday to cheer everyone up. Also, our ADUN Michelle Ng, thank you for helping us to spread the word to promote our campaign to the residents of Subang Jaya.
