LCSJ wishes everyone, Gong Xi Fa Cai and a Happy Chinese New Year!
On 8 February 2026, Lions Club of Subang Jaya, together with our Leos and the Member of Parliament for Subang, YB Wong Chen, did an early Chinese New Year visit/greeting to 3 old folks/welfare homes in Subang Jaya.
We visited:
- Yi Xing Old Folks Home in USJ2.
- Pertubuhan Kebajikan USJ Subang Jaya in USJ1.
- Persatuan Kebajikan Orang OKU Selangor in SS14.
Lions Club of Subang Jaya prepared CNY goodies bag for the residents which includes a new shirt. We also organized lion dance performance to enlighten the mood in all 3 homes. Some of our members also personally donated grocery items.
We would like to thank the following contributors:
- Lion YP for a cash donation to the project.
- Qi Sheng Lion Dance Academy for chipping-in for a lower-than normal rate performance for old folks.
- Lion Adrian was our official photographer, resulted him not in any of the group photos.
The Organizing Chairperson for the project was Lion Pei Wen and Lion Joseph.
