Lions Club of Subang Jaya, in collaboration with Lions Club of Guangzhou Pearl of the Garden City, successfully carried out a joint service project to support a center dedicated to mentally challenged adults. As part of this initiative, both clubs sponsored a water dispenser and mattresses for the center.
The center accommodates approximately 50 adults and aims to provide them with value-added training to develop practical and social skills. Through these training programs, the center collaborates with various enterprises to create employment opportunities, enabling the adults to lead more meaningful and independent lives.
This joint effort reflects the Lions’ shared commitment to serving the community with compassion and dedication, in line with the mission of Lions Clubs International to empower volunteers to serve their communities, meet humanitarian needs, and promote understanding through service.
