On 10 November 2024, Lions Club of Subang Jaya re-engaged with Pertiwi Soup Kitchen in Medan Tuanku, Kuala Lumpur, for the Feed the Hunger Project.
The Organizing Chairperson for this project is Lion Adrian Lim.
Members gathered at the kitchen initially to do the food packing. At around 6pm, we adjourned to the distribution center for the handout. We also donated treats and desserts to replenish the soup kitchen’s supplies.
Pertiwi has an excellent system for distribution. It was swiftly carried out efficiently and systematically to the needy. We managed to distribute 200 hot meals, desserts and drinks with an hour.
